French Barge Vacations Almond French Toast

•6 eggs
•1 Cup half and half
•Finely grated orange zest
•3/4 teas almond extract
•1/2 teas vanilla extract
•8 Slices brioche bread
•1 Cup sliced almonds
•1 Cup berries

1.In a large bowl whisk together eggs, half and half, orange zest, almond extract, vanilla extract. Add the bread to the egg mixture and turn to coat evenly. Let stand so the bread soaks up the egg mixture, 1 minute. Spread the almonds on a plate. Dip one side of the bread into the almonds, press gently to help the nuts adhere. Place the bread slices on a griddle almond side down, and cook until the nuts begin to brown. Flip and cook the other side. Serve with fresh raspberries.
